I like the quote on this plaque that was at a rest stop today. We stopped along I-70 and while I was waiting there it was. It says "Freedom Isn't Free" and talks about those that were wounded or killed in battle that received the Purple Heart.
It reminded me that our freedom that we have through Jesus' death on the cross was not free. It was sacrifice. Jesus gave up everything to come down here so that we could be free to live with Him forever.
And that is awesome! Can you even imagine what He gave up for us?
