Living Your Strengths 1.2

Second Day!

Remember the key for this week is Vulnerability.

My second question for us is this:

Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the spirit that I from God, so that we may understand the gifts bestowed on us by God. (1 Cor. 2:12)

And now these.

1) Are there some areas in which you've always known you naturally excelled, but never knew how to describe your talents?

2) Would others be surprised at some of the themes in which you are especially talented?

Did you journal yesterday? How was your time? Did you look for your strengths as your day progressed? What did you notice? 

Living Your Strengths Session 1

Our church leadership team (BLT) is going through Living Your Strengths together. I told them that I would post some more information here so that they could go through more of the information in their home study time.

The first VALUE is Vulnerability. I liked what one of them said. "That second one is what scares me." The second one was this:  To acknowledge strengths means accountability. Accountability is scary!

My first question for us is this:

To each is given the manifestation of the spirit for the common good. (1 Cor. 12:7)

Think about that. Now, consider these questions in relation to that.
1) How does it feel to be able to "name" your talents?

2) What aspect of your Signature Themes report surprised you most?

Last names

Today Audrey mentioned that real princesses don't have last names. I thought about it and decided that she was right. I've never thought about that before. Does Disney have any last names for any of those fairy tale people?

She just continually comes up with the neatest thoughts. 

The Mall

We spent all day at the Mall of America yesterday. It was a hoot!

Audrey and I rode rides while Alissa and Eliya window shopped. It was a long day. And a great family day! Vacation is awesome.

First Snow

And we finally have out first snow!

Three to six is what they are saying to expect.

Not bad!

Am sad that we will miss people tomorrow because of the weather.

Wow! We are done loading! It took one while day to do it. Gene, Josh, Jesse, Kaelynn, and Taylor helped us get it 100% loaded. Pretty awesome.

In Minnesota !!

Well, I have now made it on the first leg of my trip to Boise to pack up our stuff to head to Winona! Can't wait!
